1. Heat canola oil in a wide sauce or sauté pan on medium high heat. Add the ground veal and brown the meat for 2-3 minutes; add the taco seasoning and continue to sauté for 1-2 minutes more.
2. Add the salt, black pepper, tomato paste, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cider vinegar and tomato puree. Bring to a boil and lower to a simmer.
3. Add the frozen onion-pepper blend and bring to a boil; lower to a simmer and cook for 30-45 minutes or until the veal is tender.
4. Serve 1/2 cup of the Sloppy Joe mixture on a toasted hamburger bun.
